Double-Double Deliciousness by Netaro Double-Double Deliciousness by Netaro
This is my color project for my Art 123: Descriptive Drawing class. We could draw anything in color and well... I chose a close up of In-N-Out's Double-Double burger, yo! I originally wanted to do this for my second project, but it just made more sense to draw it in color than in black & white with graphite. Yeah, I love this drawing, and you should too.

I'm sure I probably gave you an appetitive boner with my drawing, so here is the link to the In-N-Out website I'm sure you'd appreciate visiting to tease your throbbing hunger: [link]

Time: 15 hours.
Dimensions: 10x10-inches with 2-inch white border (not shown).
Medium: Prismacolor on 14x14-inch 4ply hot-press illustration board.

"Double-Double Deliciousness" is copyrighted by Frankie Jayme.

Wow - looks amazing! I thought is was a photograph because I read your description. Awesome job. You can really "feel" the textures.

This is phenomenal.
I wouldn't say it looks like a photograph, because you can distinctly tell the difference between a drawing and a photo.

But respect to you for spending 15 hours on this! And on a less conventional subject too.
Nice use of prismacolor. I still remember the horrid days of using those buggers back in my AS Art days :D

Thanks for the words. I haven't touched my prismacolor pencils since that class so yeah. That class had made me discover that I'd probably hate being an illustrator, working on a single drawing for hours upon hours at a time. Haha!

The textures are awesome. I can just imagine crunching on that lettuce, chewing on that bun, that gooey can definitely tell that it's a burger at first glance. And I love that it's Prismacolor; I haven't quite mastered drawing in color yet, so it's amazing to me to see work like this. :)
